The RS4 was Larrivée's version of the ultimate solid body electric guitar. Folks, what can we say? This guitar eats Gibson Custom Shop Les Pauls for breakfast, it's a veritable wishlist made true: one piece mahogany body, one piece mahogany neck, extra thick flame maple top, Lollar pickups and Tonepros hardware. Fit and finish is perfect, the 25,5" scale gives it a bit more punch and clarity and its extremely comfortable (like your brain and fingers just connect straight to your amplifier, but without the certain death that half-assed metaphor would imply). In short: if you want the quality and playability of a Collins without the budget, here's your axe.
