Fender's new solution to people wanting a better amplified acoustic tone is this Highway Dreadnought. With a compact, chambered mahogany body and a solid sitka spruce top, it gives you a lovely stage sound without feedback issues. The amplification is taken care of by a Fishman Fluence Core pickup and preamp and the neck is comfy like an electric guitar. This Highway Dreadnought is also a rather beautiful instrument, and the open pore finishes feel wonderful in the hand.
